JSQRD x Lillymo Games

As massive fans of retro styled games, when we saw Saint Slayer: Spear of Sacrilege we knew it was going to be awesome. What we didn’t know was that through a couple great conversations and some new friendships we’d be partnered with the developer to bring this soundtrack to life and give it the full vinyl treatment.

This was an incredibly exciting project to work on not only because the source material, but also because we were able to explore some new opportunities to make this package unique. This time around the album comes with a full color printed inner sleeve that plays with the center label graphic to show when Rudiger acquires the Spear of Sacrilege, and on the reverse side when Rudiger defeats Father Pacer, a fun little interplay that ties the record a bit closer to the game.

Additionally and probably what we’re most excited about in this release is the inclusion of the Secret Guide. This insert not only harkens back to NES style included guides, but also features some really useful tips, item locations, and passwords the help you on your journey. What’s coolest of all was Lillymo actually made a Special password only found within this vinyl release! Want to know what it does? Well you’ll have to get a copy yourself to find out!
